Former Italian manager, Fabio Capello, has urged Inter Milan to sign Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund during this summer's transfer window, praising the Danish forward as a "very dynamic striker" despite his struggles at Old Trafford.
Speculation has been mounting that Hojlund could depart Manchester United following a disappointing debut season after his 2023 move from Atalanta. The 22-year-old Danish international managed just 10 goals and four assists in 52 appearances across all competitions for the Red Devils last season.
Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Capello expressed his admiration for Hojlund despite the striker's difficulties in adapting to Premier League football. "The Dane is a very dynamic striker, good at exploiting space. Even though he was very young, he impressed me at Atalanta," Capello said.
The former England and Real Madrid manager further distinguished Hojlund from other potential targets, noting that he sees Bonny as "a different kind of striker who is more involved in the build-up play" but suggested the latter wasn't ready for a bigger challenge.
Hojlund's current contract with Manchester United runs until 2028, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value stands at approximately €35 million. This valuation could make him an attractive option for the Champions League finalists as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
