Dr. Dangulbi was reportedly seized by armed men at Tashar Kalgo village, shortly after Jangebe town in Talata Mafara Local Government Area. The incident happened while he was traveling from Anka to Gusau, the state capital.
As of the time of this report, authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the abduction. It remains unclear whether any contact has been established with the kidnappers or if any ransom demands have been made.
This incident adds to the growing concern over insecurity in Zamfara State, which has witnessed numerous kidnappings and bandit attacks in recent years, particularly targeting professionals and travelers on highways.
