Kwara United technical adviser, Tunde Sanni, has attributed his team's success in reaching the 2025 President's Federation Cup final to hard work and determination following their 1-0 victory over Rangers International in Wednesday's semi-final clash.

The Harmony Boys secured their place in the final thanks to Wasiu Alalade's decisive goal scored just three minutes after the halftime break at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

"We've worked so hard to get here, and we will give it our all in the final," Sanni stated in his post-match comments, emphasizing the team's commitment to clinching the prestigious trophy.

The victory sets up an intriguing final showdown against Nigeria National League (NNL) side Abakaliki FC, who have emerged as the tournament's surprise package by reaching the final despite competing in a lower division.

Kwara United's journey to the final has been marked by resilience and tactical discipline, with the team showing significant improvement under Sanni's guidance this season.

Football analysts now consider the Ilorin-based club as favorites to lift the trophy, though they will be wary of underestimating their lower-division opponents who have already eliminated several top-tier teams en route to the final.

The date and venue for the 2025 President's Federation Cup final are yet to be announced by the Nigeria Football Federation, but both finalists are already intensifying preparations for what promises to be an exciting contest.
