The Harmony Boys, as Kwara United are fondly called, have expressed their readiness and determination to secure victory in the crucial encounter that could see them advance to the final of the prestigious national competition.
Team captain Kabir Mohammed, speaking to the club's media team, emphasized the squad's preparedness for the match. "My teammates and I are ready and firing on all cylinders. We are determined to give everything for the full 90 minutes," Mohammed stated.
Goalkeeper Afeez Bankole echoed the captain's sentiments, highlighting the team's ambition to bring silverware to Kwara State. "We are in Lagos for business, and our mission is clear—to bring home a national silverware for the Harmony Boys. We are poised to achieve our target," Bankole declared.
Forward Wasiu Alalade also expressed confidence in the team's capabilities, attributing their potential success to the strong bond among players. "The bond in this team is something special. With this level of commitment and focus, we are capable of winning the coveted trophy for Kwara State," he said.
The players have called on football enthusiasts and supporters to turn out in large numbers at the Onikan Waterfront to cheer them to victory against the Flying Antelopes of Enugu.
