Wikki Tourists Football Club have announced that entry will be free for their final home game of the 2024/25 Nigeria National League (NNL) season against Zamfara United on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
The club management made this announcement via their official Facebook page, inviting supporters to fill the iconic Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi for what they described as "an electrifying final league match."
"The gates of the iconic Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi will be thrown open FREE on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, when Wikki Tourists face off against Zamfara United," the club statement read.
The management further urged "all loyal supporters and football lovers in Bauchi and beyond to turn out in massive numbers, cheer the team on, and help create an atmosphere worthy of champions."
The Bauchi Elephants, as they are fondly called, currently occupy the top position in Group C of the Nigeria National League with 20 points from 11 matches. This final home fixture could prove crucial in their campaign as they look to maintain their lead in the group standings.
The free entry initiative appears to be a strategic move by the club to ensure maximum support as they push for promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) next season.
Football enthusiasts in Bauchi State and surrounding areas are expected to take advantage of this opportunity to witness what promises to be an exciting encounter between the group leaders and their visitors from Zamfara State.
