The Sunshine Stars Under-19 team has resumed intensive preparations for the upcoming N-Youth League Super Eight playoff tournament scheduled to take place next month in Lagos.

Mr. Oladimeji Abimbola, Director of the Youth Team, confirmed that the young squad is in high spirits and fully prepared to compete against the best youth teams in the country.

"The boys are ready for the Super Eight of the N-Youth League," Abimbola told The Hope. "All necessary preparations have kicked off, and I am confident that the team will represent the state well in Lagos."

The prestigious youth tournament will feature several prominent Nigerian football clubs' youth teams, including Enyimba U-19, Kano Pillars U-19, Plateau United, and Kwara United U-19, among others.

The N-Youth League serves as a vital platform for developing young football talent in Nigeria, with many players using the competition as a springboard to professional careers. For Sunshine Stars, a strong showing in the tournament could help bolster the club's youth development program.

Football enthusiasts across Ondo State are eagerly anticipating the tournament, hoping to see their young stars shine on the national stage and potentially secure a pathway to the first team in the future.
