Real Madrid midfielder Reinier Jesus has finalized an agreement to leave the Spanish giants and join Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro during the current summer transfer window.

According to renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Jesus will depart Los Blancos on a free transfer, though Real Madrid has secured a significant 50 percent sell-on clause as part of the deal.

The Brazilian midfielder initially joined Real Madrid from Flamengo in 2020 but struggled to break into the first team. During his time with the club, Jesus was sent on loan to several European sides including Borussia Dortmund, Granada, and most recently Girona.

Alonso Promotes Youth Talent

In related news, Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has called up three promising youngsters to train with the first team. Daniel Yáñez, Diego Aguado, and Manuel Ángel have been invited to join senior training sessions, as reported by Madrid Zone.

However, Manuel Ángel's participation remains uncertain due to discomfort from a previous injury. The youth integration comes as Real Madrid prepares for their upcoming pre-season friendly against WSG Tirol next Tuesday in Austria.

Following the friendly match against WSG Tirol, Alonso's squad will begin their LaLiga campaign with a fixture against Osasuna scheduled for August 19.

This development highlights Real Madrid's ongoing strategy of balancing high-profile signings with youth development, as the club continues to refresh its squad for the upcoming season.
