Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly set for a shock transfer move to Premier League champions Liverpool this summer, according to Turkish pundit Ugur Karakullukçu.
Karakullukçu revealed on his YouTube channel that Osimhen is "positive about Liverpool and is in a position to approve Liverpool with a salary in the 13-14 million Euro range." The information emerged while the pundit was discussing Galatasaray's transfer agenda for the upcoming window.
"It is not possible for Osimhen to play for Galatasaray for less than 20 million Euros," Karakullukçu stated, as reported by habersarikirmizi, suggesting the Turkish club may be priced out of a permanent move for the Nigerian international.
This development comes less than a week after Karakullukçu criticized Chelsea legend Didier Drogba for allegedly 'seducing' Osimhen to join Liverpool's Premier League rival Chelsea.
Osimhen's Future Remains Undecided
Despite these reports, Osimhen has not officially decided on his next destination amid interest from multiple clubs including Galatasaray, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Al Hilal, and Juventus.
The Nigerian striker recently concluded his loan spell at Galatasaray from Napoli and is expected to leave the Serie A champions on a permanent transfer this summer.
Liverpool's interest in Osimhen could signal their intent to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season, potentially creating one of the most formidable forward lines in European football.
