Turkish pundit Ugur Karakullukçu has publicly criticized Chelsea legend Didier Drogba for allegedly attempting to influence Victor Osimhen's transfer decision in favor of the London club.

Osimhen, who has consistently named Drogba as his football idol, recently completed a successful loan spell at Galatasaray where he helped the club secure both the Turkish Süper Lig title and the Turkish Cup.

The 26-year-old Nigerian striker, who is still contracted to Napoli, has attracted interest from several top European clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United, Juventus, and Galatasaray, who are keen to sign him permanently.

Karakullukçu's Strong Rebuke

Speaking via his YouTube channel, as reported by habersarikirmizi, Karakullukçu did not mince words in his criticism of the Ivorian legend:

"Also, Didier Drogba wants Osimhen to play for Chelsea. Drogba also wants to spoil the deal," Karakullukçu stated. "His words about Mourinho had already made him lose favour with the fans. Drogba will never be valued by Galatasaray fans as much as Mario Jardel and Mauro Icardi."

The pundit further added: "If you are going to seduce Osimhen and take him to Chelsea, shame on you. He should have remained neutral."

Drogba's Galatasaray Connection

The criticism is particularly pointed given Drogba's own history with Galatasaray, where he played during the 2013-2014 season. This connection appears to be at the heart of Karakullukçu's expectation that the former Chelsea striker should remain neutral regarding Osimhen's future.

Reports have previously suggested that both Drogba and fellow Chelsea legend John Mikel Obi have been involved in trying to influence Osimhen's decision in favor of a move to Stamford Bridge.

As the summer transfer window progresses, Osimhen's next destination remains uncertain, with one report cited by Karakullukçu suggesting that "chances of Osimhen staying at Galatasaray are increasing everyday."

The Nigerian striker's decision will be closely watched by fans of all clubs involved, as he has proven himself to be one of the most sought-after forwards in European football.
