Another petroleum tanker carrying Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, caught fire on Tuesday afternoon in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, causing panic among local residents.

The incident occurred near Muslim Grammar School in the Odinjo area along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway when the tanker reportedly somersaulted before bursting into flames.

Eyewitnesses reported that many residents in the vicinity were thrown into confusion as the fire broke out, with many fleeing for safety. Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and are working diligently to contain the blaze and prevent further damage to surrounding properties.
