Liverpool have officially confirmed that seven players from their Academy will be leaving the club following the expiration of their contracts this month.

The departing players include Harry Evers, Lee Jonas, Jakub Ojrzynski, Jacob Poytress, Dominic Corness, Louis Enahoro-Marcus, and Reece Trueman. None of these young talents managed to break into the Reds' first-team during their time at the club.

Among those leaving, 22-year-old Dominic Corness came closest to first-team action, having participated in a mid-season friendly against Lyon in December 2022, but never made a competitive appearance for the senior squad.

New Contract Offers for Eight Young Talents

While confirming these departures, the Premier League champions have also extended new contract offers to eight promising Academy prospects. Michael Laffey, Wellity Lucky, Kareem Ahmed, Emmanuel Airoboma, Terence Miles, Keyrol Figueroa, Kyle Kelly, and Ranel Young have all been given the opportunity to continue their development at Anfield.

The club is hopeful that these young players will choose to remain and continue their progression through Liverpool's renowned youth system, potentially following in the footsteps of recent Academy graduates who have successfully transitioned to the first team.

This announcement comes as part of Liverpool's end-of-season review process, with the club looking to reshape their squad at all levels following their Premier League triumph.
