Arsenal Football Club has revealed an impressive list of records broken during their 2024/2025 campaign, despite ending the season without silverware.

The North London club finished second in the Premier League behind champions Liverpool and were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League by eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain at the semi-final stage.

However, Mikel Arteta's side achieved several notable milestones throughout the season, demonstrating significant progress despite the trophy drought.

Premier League Milestones

Arsenal's 3-0 victory against Nottingham Forest in November marked their 2,000th win in the Premier League, making them only the second club after Liverpool to reach this historic milestone.

The Gunners also extended their unbeaten streak to 15 games in the Premier League following their win against Leicester City in February. This represented their longest unbeaten run since going 16 games without defeat between December 2010 and April 2011 under Arsène Wenger.

After defeating Southampton on the final day of the season, Arsenal's unbeaten away run stretched to 14 league games, their longest such streak since their remarkable 27-game unbeaten away run between April 2003 and September 2004.

European Excellence

In European competition, Arsenal became the first visiting team to win each of their first two games against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu, with the Spanish giants yet to record a victory against the Gunners.

Their 7-1 thrashing of PSV Eindhoven in February saw them become the first team in Champions League history to score seven or more goals away from home in a knockout match.

The 5-1 victory over Sporting CP in Portugal ended the Portuguese side's impressive 30-game unbeaten home run. This win, combined with victories against Girona, PSV, and Real Madrid, helped Arsenal equal their longest ever away winning run in the Champions League at four games.

Another notable achievement came when Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace 5-1 just before Christmas, marking the sixth time they had scored five or more goals in an away game across all competitions in 2024 – the most by any Premier League club in a single calendar year.

While Arsenal fans will be disappointed not to have ended their wait for major silverware, these records highlight the continued development of Arteta's team as they look to challenge for trophies in the upcoming 2025/2026 season.
