Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has heaped praise on teammate Ryan Gravenberch, revealing that the Dutchman's stamina and performance level have surprised everyone at the club.

Speaking on The Anfield Warp Podcast, Mac Allister highlighted Gravenberch's remarkable endurance on the pitch. "He never gets tired," Mac Allister said. "I think everyone was surprised by Ryan's level at the beginning."

Gravenberch, who joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in September 2023, initially struggled to establish himself at Anfield, starting only 12 games in his debut season. However, under new manager Arne Slot, the midfielder has transformed his career and played a crucial role in Liverpool's Premier League triumph in the recently concluded 2024/2025 season.

"We knew what he could do, but it was a new position for him as well because we don't play with a six, with a defensive six," Mac Allister explained. "So it was about finding the balance between Ryan and me. And to attack and defend and do well. And as you said, an amazing player."

The Argentine's comments highlight the successful midfield partnership that has developed between the two players, contributing significantly to Liverpool's success under Slot's management.

Gravenberch's resurgence represents one of the season's most remarkable turnarounds, with the Dutch international establishing himself as a key figure in Liverpool's midfield after a challenging start to his Anfield career.

Liverpool's Premier League victory caps off a successful transition period following Jürgen Klopp's departure, with Slot's tactical adjustments, including his utilization of Gravenberch in a new role, proving instrumental to the team's success.
