Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has announced that the club will make a decision on Jadon Sancho's future at Stamford Bridge within the next 48 hours.
Speaking ahead of the UEFA Conference League final, Maresca told reporters: "In the next 24 or 48 hours, we will talk about the future. But no decision has been made on Jadon or any other player."
Sancho joined Chelsea on a season-long loan from Manchester United last summer. As part of the agreement between the two Premier League giants, Chelsea have an obligation to buy Sancho permanently for £25 million should they wish to retain his services.
However, if the Blues decide against signing the England international on a permanent basis, they will have to pay Manchester United a compensation fee of approximately £5 million.
The 25-year-old winger has had a mixed season at Chelsea following his temporary move from Old Trafford, where he had previously fallen out of favor.
Chelsea fans will be eagerly awaiting the club's decision on Sancho, as Maresca continues to reshape his squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
