Arsenal midfielder Riccardo Calafiori has firmly dismissed rumors suggesting he regrets joining the North London club, though he acknowledged that winning trophies would enhance his experience at the Emirates Stadium.

The Italian international, who joined Arsenal from Bologna in July 2024 for a reported €45 million transfer fee, addressed the speculation in a recent interview with Intera Gianluca Di Marzio.

"For me personally, it was a great experience. Obviously, when you win trophies, it's always better," Calafiori stated when asked if he regretted his move to Arsenal.

Despite Arsenal's failure to secure silverware this season, Calafiori expressed satisfaction with his decision to join the Premier League side. "I am convinced of the choice I made. Any regrets? None, absolutely," he emphasized.

The midfielder also highlighted his pride in competing in the English Premier League, which he described as "the most difficult league in the world."

Calafiori's comments come amid recent speculation linking him with a potential return to Italy, with AC Milan reportedly interested in securing his services. The 22-year-old has had limited impact at Arsenal since his arrival last summer.

While Calafiori remains committed to Arsenal for now, the transfer rumors continue to circulate as the summer transfer window approaches, potentially setting the stage for further developments in the coming months.
