The Adamawa State Police Command has taken custody of a missing child and is now appealing to the public for information about her family members.

The child, identified as Aisha Hassan, is approximately four years old. According to police reports, the little girl has provided some details about her family, naming her mother as Maryam, her brothers as Alkasim and Khalifa, and her aunt as Khadija.

In a statement released on Saturday morning, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sulieman Nguroje, urged members of the public with any information regarding the girl's relatives to come forward.

"Anyone with information about the family of this child should kindly report to Doubeli Divisional Police Headquarters in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area," Nguroje stated.

The police spokesperson also provided his personal contact number, 08065604764, for those who might have relevant information about the missing child's family.

Authorities are working diligently to reunite the young girl with her family and are counting on public assistance to achieve this goal.

The police have not disclosed additional details about how or where the child was found, but the priority remains identifying and contacting her family members as soon as possible.
